Terms & Conditions
The following terms and conditions have been put in place to ensure that we are able to continue to provide the very best hairdressing education for every student enrolled.
You have purchased a non refundable ticket for the workshop shown on the advertised dates. Your ticket is transferable and can be used by yourself or any person that you nominate, you can on-sell to another attendee. If you change your mind, we have allowed you 7 days to cancel your booking after your invoice has been issued to receive a full refund.
Full payment is required 7 days after the issue of your ticket invoice and before the commencement of your first workshop, unless you have requested payment using our payment plan.
PAYMENT PLAN:
We have offered payment plans to assist cash flow and enable financial assistance to further your education, or that of your salon staff.
When you accepted our payment plan offer, You agreed to make full payment of your ticket, even if you or your nominated student is unable to attend, or you are unable to sell the ticket to another participant.
EHE cannot offer refunds, and cannot be held financially responsible as a result of changes in your personal circumstances or illness or changes in your workplace. You have purchased the Ticket and you are responsible for the full payment.
Your payment plan instalments are payable weekly, via your nominated credit/debit card.
Our payment plan has no fees, interest or administration charges. Except where your method of payment declines, there will be a $15 admin fee each time your card declines.
Account balances can be obtained from your card statement on a weekly basis. We will send a receipt at the end of your payment plan. In order to maintain this offer without fees and charges, requests for balances and statements will incur an administration fee of $25 for each request.
By accepting a payment plan you have agreed to pay the full amount on the terms of this agreement, plus any card decline fees.
EHE GUARANTEE:
EHE will guarantee your position in the class and will book venues, purchase all resources for you, and restrict the number of students or hire additional educators for the workshop to enable the best learning outcome for you.
We reserve the right to alter the date of the workshop and the number of attendees if circumstances out of our control arise.
CANCELLING OR ALTERING YOUR TICKET PRIOR TO THE WORKSHOP:
You have purchased a limited seat ticket to attend our workshop. Your deposit and Workshop Ticket is NON refundable
Unless, EHE is notified in writing / email within 7 days of your invoice issue.
EHE will assist with any request for alteration but cannot guarantee our ability to fulfil your request.
Once your request for confirmation has been received and processed you are responsible for the full payment of your program.
You have agreed to paid in full, even if you are unable to attend.
CREDIT FOR WORKSHOPS & FLOOR READY FOILING (other than Scissor Licence):
If you or a nominated replacement student cannot attend a cutting workshop or Foiling Program, there will be no credit or booking transfer available. EHE cannot offer refunds, and cannot be held financially responsible as a result of changes in your personal circumstances or illness or changes in your workplace. You have purchased the Ticket and you are responsible for the full payment even if you cannot attend.
CREDIT FOR SCISSOR LICENCE: To assist Salon owners who purchase tickets for their staff members, If your student leaves your employment, at EHE’s discretion, you will be credited with the remaining days of education for use by any other nominee you choice, at any Elite Hair Education Workshop that still has an available tickets. Credits may apply to Scissor Licence Students only.
If EHE is caused to postpone a workshop, EHE will reserve your place in the workshop on the new date.
There is no time limit, or expiry date on the use of any education workshop credit.
Workshop credit days can be used at any workshop that still has an available ticket.
Workshop Credit days cannot be applied to Private in-salon education, They must be used in an advertised workshop.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE:
EHE ABN 30 058 570 941 provides limited ticket workshops, including the sale and distribution of tickets, as agent for the venue, promoter or person responsible for holding the relevant event. In providing these services, EHE owns and operates elitehaireducation.com. By purchasing a ticket from EHE, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
These Terms and Conditions apply to both the original purchaser and any subsequent ticket holders, and relate both to the sale of tickets and attendance at events.
VARIATION TO TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
EHE may vary these Terms and Conditions at any time by updating them.
ADDITIONAL SELLER TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
Each ticket is also sold subject to any additional terms and conditions of a Seller or agent or venue operator for the particular event, including their Conditions of Entry. The Seller’s Terms may be disclosed as part of the event information on EHE’s website and at EHE agents and outlets at the time of purchase.
GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
EHE acts as agent in the sale of all tickets. As such, except as specified in these Terms and Conditions, all claims in connection with tickets or events are the sole responsibility of the re-seller or agent, except to the extent required by law (including the Australian Consumer Law) EHE otherwise has no liability to you.
REFUNDS, CREDITS EXCHANGES AND REPLACEMENTS:
Subject to requests made under the Refundable Tickets Terms and Conditions of Sale below, or the COVID-19 Refunds and Exchanges Terms and Conditions:
EHE will offer a refund of a ticket if an event is cancelled, and a reserved booking if an event is postponed, workshop credits are measured in Days of Education purchased, to the extent otherwise required by law (including the Australian Consumer Law).
EHE does not offer refunds as a result of a change in your personal or business circumstances or for illness;
EHE does not offer refunds as a result of a change in your staff numbers.
If an event is cancelled, all liability is limited to the amount for which the ticket was purchased (including any fees or charges). EHE nor the re-seller will be liable for any other losses incurred by you as a result of the cancellation, rescheduling or relocation of an event, including any travel and accommodation expenses;
You should carefully consider the refund and cancellation policies of travel, accommodation and other goods or service providers when making arrangements for attendance at a workshop.You may also wish to consider taking out a relevant insurance policy to cover for any losses in the event of cancellation, rescheduling or relocation;
VARIATIONS TO WORKSHOPS AND EVENTS:
EHE reserves the right to add, withdraw, reschedule venues, seating arrangements and audience capacity.
CONDITIONS OF ENTRY:
Admission to an event is subject to EHE Terms.
You may be denied entry into, or removed from, an event where EHE has reasonable grounds to do so, including if you breach these Terms and Conditions, are un-financial, have a contagious illness, or you are intoxicated, under the influence of illicit drugs, inappropriately attired or adversely affecting the learning experience of others.
RESALE OF TICKETS:
Tickets may, with the prior consent of EHE, be resold or offered for resale at a premium or used for advertising, promotion or other commercial purposes including competitions or to enhance the demand for other goods or services. If a ticket is sold or used without EHE permission, the ticket may be cancelled without a refund and the ticket holder of the ticket may be refused admission.
COVID-19 SPECIFIC CONDITIONS OF ENTRY:
You acknowledge that the event may be scheduled to be held, or will be held, during a time at which one or more Government directions or regulations may be in force regarding the number of persons attending an event (or the holding of the event itself). If that is the case, then the number of persons permitted to be in or around the Venue may be affected, resulting in EHE being required to or deciding to:
- cancel (full refund) or postpone or re-schedule the event (reserved booking);
- reduce the number of persons who may attend the event;
- change your seating allocation; and/or
- change any standing or seating configurations for attendance at the event;
You agree to comply with all Government directions, orders and regulations relevant to attending live events, which may be in place at the time of the event.
If you are attending the event as part of a group, or as the primary ticket purchaser, you are responsible for knowing the contact details of all attendees in your group. In the event you are contacted directly by the Government, including the Department of Health for the purposes of contact tracing, you must:
- make the contact details of your group available to the Government (if you have the consent of each group member to do so); or
- contact each member of your group, and request that they provide their contact details to the Government directly.
All attendees in your group, including yourself, must commit to stopping the spread of COVID-19. If at the time of the event, either you, or any other members of your group are feeling unwell or are subject to a self-quarantine or self-isolation period, you agree not to attend the event. If you do attend the event, you agree to assume all risk associated with COVID-19.
