FINISHING SCHOOL CUTTING, Sydney CBD 2024

Dates: Tuesday 4th and Wednesday 5th February 2025

Venue: Bustle Studios, Level 1, 457 Elizabeth Street, Surry Hills NSW.

This two-day cutting workshop covers all the critical cutting techniques that are not taught in Cert. III Hairdressing at TAFE or College. 

Finishing School Cutting is designed to have stylists understanding advanced cutting techniques and polishing their skills so they can execute any commercial look a client desires.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:

Day One

• How to deal with the natural formation of curly hair using precision and freehand cutting techniques.
• Styling wavy and curly hair.
• 4 x different face framing techniques.
• 3 x different fringe techniques.

Day Two

• How to confidently break down a short haircut from a picture, plan the cut, personalising and styling techniques.
• Short hair style variations, personalising and styling.
• Structure, projection angles, and variation techniques for short hair.
• Conversion of classic short looks to creative edgy cuts.
• Disconnection and undercutting.
• Personalising the cut as a visual whole break down, dissection sections and roots, mid-lengths, and ends.

 
WHO SHOULD ATTEND:

• To fully benefit from the content of this workshop a stylist should have already completed our Foundation Cutting and Bootcamp Cutting workshops (part of our Scissor Licence program) before attending Finishing School.
• This workshop will also suit any stylist who has completed Cert. III Hairdressing at TAFE or College.
